Kameleon and the Watermonster is the fourth instalment in the beloved children’s film series De Schippers van de Kameleon, where the twins Hielke and Sietse experience the greatest adventures in their village.
Set in a 1958 Frisian farming village, the project involved extensive historical research to ensure period accuracy while remaining visually consistent with the previous films. Unfortunately, production was halted and will no longer be completed.
