After a tragic accident kills his new wife, a grief-stricken Frank forces a former medical professor to help him bring her back using a voodoo ritual. As his obsession spirals, he manipulates the doctor into harvesting body parts from his wife's family members, pushing them both into increasing depravity.
As production designer, I developed a cohesive visual world that begins with a quaint wedding venue, designed to feel modest yet hopeful. These soft pink tones return during Frank’s ritual to bring his wife back to life, it's the color of their connection. The other interior spaces in the film are clean and warm-toned but dimly lit, creating an unsettling, tense atmosphere. This is then sharply contrasted with the stark, grimy, cool-toned murder shed, where the story descends fully into obsession and horror.
